3 GREATEST GOLD FOR CELLAR BATEA IN GIROVI

The XXX WINES, SPARKLING AND VERMUTS CONTEST OF CATALONIA GIROVI’25, was held on Saturday March 29, 2025 at the Best Western Premier CMC Girona Hotel, with the participation of all the Catalan appellations of origin.

Expert tasters, oenologists, sommeliers, producers of wine and sparkling wines, merchants, restaurateurs and consumers, were part of the jury that blindly tasted the samples participating in the Competition and determined the wines and sparkling wines awarded in each of the categories, reserve reds, sweets, sparkling wines, rosé sparkling wines and vermouths).

The GREAT GOLD, GOLD and SILVER “MEDALS”, for each category, have been awarded respectively to the best wines classified in each jury. Celler Batea has been awarded this edition with 6 medals , of which 3 big golds have been for Naturalis Mer negre, Vallmajor negre and Vallmajor Rosado respectively, two Gold Medals for Naturalis Mer blanc and Primicia Rosat La Borruda, as well as a silver medal for Vallmajor Blanc .
